idk, I wouldn't call those thickly-sliced :P

Also...I just realised that the recipe I translated is pretty lacklustre, lol, compared to your ~detailed account of your attempt. idk, to me cooking is so much not about precise amounts and more about knowing from experience what just looks right (which I think is reflected in recipes online, too, a lot of the time. And when I look up recipes, I pretty much always disregard the part with actual amounts, lol.).

And also lol my translation skills suck. I should have told you earlier - please feel free to make any changes that you think would make things flow better/sound better in English! (The one I'm thinking of rn is 'home-made' for 'self-made', lol. -______- And maybe 'sediment' for 'leftovers'. S:)
